Kellie Rhodes grew up in Salmon, Idaho and graduated in 1990 from Salmon High School. She went on to Colorado State University where she graduated summa cum laude in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Biology, minor in Chemistry, and a secondary teaching certificate for natural sciences. Kellie is in her 16th year of teaching and has had the privilege of serving in Salmon Junior High, Orofino High School, Timberlake Junior High, and currently in Timberlake High School. Moving around a lot has allowed her to teach lots of different disciplines of science including biology, anatomy/physiology, earth science, forestry, wildlife management, forensics, environmental science, and chemistry. In addition to teaching, Kellie is also a track and field coach with 11 years of experience and a basketball coach with 14 years of experience and the current student council adviser. She and her husband Mark have two children, Preston and Payten, and her time outside of school and sports is spent riding horses, mountain biking, hiking, gardening, getting involved in church activities, and spending time with family.
